Q.Bell pepper leaves just fell off
I have eight pepper plants, 4 green pepper and 4 red pepper plants. Yesterday, the leaves began wilting and then the fully green leaves just fell off. I have sprayed them with liquid Sevin and mixed in vegtable food as directed. What is going on?
Generally a virus or disease does not affect a plant this quickly. It almost sounds more like an accidental spray of a herbicide.
Slugs can come in the night and dine on plants and cut leaves off a plant as clean as a knife would cut.
If the plants lose all their leaves there is little to be done to save the plants.
I would treat any remaining plants with Neem OIl. This works as both an insecticide and fungicide and is safe for people, pets and bees.
