My newly planted greenleaf begonias turned red. Will they ever return to their green color or will they stay red for the rest of the summer?

Typically, they can take on a reddish cast if exposed to cool temperatures. If this is the case where you are, the red will fade as the weather warms. It also may be a reaction to being transplanted. Just to be on the safe side, I would treat them as though they have mild transplant shock. This article will help you with that:
