Q.Beginner vegetable growers

My husband and our neighbors set up a 30×60 garden this year. We planted seeds in the ground and now we have lots of plants! I guess we put 3-4 seeds in each hole. So now we have 3-4 cucumber plants in a hole, same with watermelon, pumpkins, and okra. Is there a way to dig them up and separate them without sending them into shock and killing them? Thank you!

No need to dig them up. You can gently pull the unwanted seedlings. Only 1 per hole is necessary. You can attempt to transplant the seedlings but without a hearty root system they likely wont survive. Good luck on your new gardening adventure!
