Hi my banana shrub is about 18yrs old. Well established but this year a lot of leaves are turning brown and several limbs are drying out. No sign for bugs. Any ideas why it is turning brown?

The banana shrub is sensitive to salt buildup in soil, something that can cause brown leaves in many plants but especially this one:
