About 5 Years ago a man crushed 2out of 3 of my plants. Last year one of them came back with a single bloom. It looked healthy so I just let this tiny plant alone This year it came back again with a tiny single bloom. And to my surprise the other one came back about 6 ” and a single bloom. What do I do to protect these babies and to help them grow? I live in Virginia Beach VA.

I would consider placing some plant cages around the small plants. Even a tomato cage would protect them until they have grown a bit larger.

You can also make a little cage with chicken wire; easily found at most hardware stores.
