Q.Azaleas Died

Anonymous added on January 18, 2014 | Answered

Two established azaleas in our garden have died. All of a sudden the established plants have died back from the leaves down the stem. What are we doing wrong? Can you help us, please?

It sounds like they may have Phytophthora Root Rot. It can spread rapidly among azaleas. I think you will find this article helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/azalea/phytophthora-root-rot-azaleas.htm
