Azaleas

Question

Hi I have had this Azalea in the ground for years but I didn’t amend the soil cause I didn’t know.Im only giving it fertilizer.Should I dig it up?What should I do?

If the shrub is performing well, merely add an inch of compost annually to the soil underneath the shrub when you fertilize in spring. It looks like a healthy beauty to me.
