Q.Asparagus Transplanting in Early Summer

arat added on June 29, 2011 | Answered

I am going to have to get rid of my asparagus plants just as they have started to produce. These are Jersey asparagus and I had a good crop this spring. Is there any way of transplanting them in early summer without killing them?

Any time you transplant any plant in summer, the key to survival is water. make sure that you water them frequently for several weeks after you transplant them.
