Q.Asparagus plants

Anonymous added on August 1, 2015 | Answered

My new asparagus plant has gone through its 2nd year. I have feathery tops that appear to have seeds in little pods. After researching the issue, it’s my understanding that I am to cut the plants back to 2 inches in the fall. Can I use the seeds in the pods to start other plants? Thanks!

Yes, you can. They often reseed themselves from these seeds, but you can grow them yourself as well. This article will help:
