Q.Arrowhead plant

Zone 17238 | lacross2005 added on June 21, 2016 | Answered

My plant is growing out of control. Can I cut this plant back? If I can cut it back, it won’t kill the rest of it, will it?

Congratulations on having your nephthitis grow so well you need to cut it back! Yes, you can trim it back - never more than 1/3 at a time. You can root your cuttings in water; they can stay in water indefinitely, too. They especially like aquariums (but if the leaves are in water they will start to rot). You will soon have little plants to share!
