Q.Are These 2 Spider Plants In 1?

Zone 5a | Anonymous added on June 9, 2021 | Answered

I’m hoping I can attach a photo or 2. I bought spider plant babies almost 2 years ago. Plant them both in same type of containers and the hung side by side getting same light and reg watering. 1 grew bigger and bushier while the other Has not. I switched locations and still one grows bigger. I just took them down to clean up etc and noticed the one that doesn’t grow as well seems to look like 2 plants in one. I’m wanting to cut but before I do can you confirm that is what I need to do to help this plant. Thank you.

I would separate them. That is probably what is preventing either one from progressing.
