Q.Are Leaves Supposed To Turn Brown In The Fall?
I planted a sonic bloom weigela this spring. The leaves started to get brown spots on them. I sprayed a fungal spray on it thinking it was a fungus. Now most of my leaves are brown. Are they supposed to turn brown in the fall? New to all of this have no idea what I’m doing so any information would be helpful. Thanks

Yes, the weigela is deciduous and naturally loses its leaves in the fall. You may want to protect your leafless shrub this winter. This article has some ideas for that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/wrapping-plants-in-burlap.htm
