Q.Apricots Dropping Off Tree

Anonymous added on April 16, 2014 | Answered

All my apricots about the size of a large marble are dropping off. For the last 2 days, I have picked up over 200 off the ground. Why are they dropping? Should I have put some kind of fertilizer on the ground at the roots?

It sounds like the tree may have a pollination problem. If the flowers were not properly pollinated, the tree will abort the fruit early on. There is nothing that you can do for this year, but next year you need to take steps to make sure that the tree can be properly pollinated.
