Q.apricot tree problem

Anonymous added on June 30, 2015 | Answered

Leaves on my 20 year old apricot tree are yellow with green veins. The tree grows in clay soil and I do fertilize with 16-16-16. The tree developed this condition a few years back and it seems to be getting worse with each passing year. The tree is surrounded by grass also. It does spend time in the shade of larger poplars. A younger apricot tree within ten yards does not have the problem. I do not see borers either. No sap leakage anywhere. If I need iron, what and how do I apply it?
