Why can’t my apricot tree bear fruit? I live in southern California, 20 miles north of Los Angeles. Last year my tree bore fruit, but this year not one blossom; therefore, no fruit! I would appreciate you’re telling me what the problem is? Thank you.

I would recommend adding phosphorus to the soil. This is likely the cause for not flowering, which means no fruit. This article will explain more: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/soil-fertilizers/phosphorus-plant-growth.htm

For additional reasons why this can occur, this article should be of some help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/apricots/apricot-tree-not-fruiting.htm
