Q.Apple tree prob
I just bought this house in 2016 and discovered that summer for my trees were Apple trees
They produced a lot of apples and I was able to make some Apple butter and my dogs and myself enjoyed them.
They did, however, have small brown spots, but that didn’t seem to affect the flavor. This year their appearance is scary. I will upload a couple of photos in hopes that someone can give me some answers, because it’s going to be affecting all of the apples in someway or another.
I also just planted two plum trees. They are quite a distance away from the apple trees, but I’m hoping not to infect them with whatever is affecting my Apples.
We are in Missouri and our weather is quite humid this time of year. I’m not sure if that matters, but there it is.
Thank you
Looks like your Apples are affected by common Apple Maggots.
