Q.Amaryllis Bloom in September

Anonymous added on January 28, 2014 | Answered

If I order amaryllis bulbs in June, can I manipulate them to grow indoors and be in full bloom in September? I know that is a difficult month to get an amaryllis to bloom; but if I keep it indoors, can I have the first bloom be in September? I have a wedding planned in September and have my heart set on blooming amaryllis in planters that I can give my guests to take home.
