aloe plants

Just got some from a friend. I am trying to decide where to plant it. I have a sprinkler system in my yard. Does it require a lot of water?

This is a very drought tolerant plant that is used to fertile but sandy soil. It is also not very tolerant of cool temperatures, so make sure that you are in an area that will support its growth.
