You will need to water more often than if they were in the ground. Deep, less frequent watering is better than light, frequent watering. Peppers and cucumbers need 1 inch of water a week. Tomatoes in raised beds will need more than 2 inches a week. The articles below will help.

You may want to mound the soil up higher because tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers can have roots deeper than 14 inches. If the ground below the raised bed is suitable, then it is OK.
