African violets

I see there are special African Violets pots that you water at the bottom.
Do they take care of the watering problems?

African Violets need all their needs met to bloom. The number one reason for not blooming is inadequate light. East exposure best with north exposure next best and light must be indirect. Plant wants to be slightly root bound, fertilize and water from the bottom.
