African Violet Water Pot/. Do I Plant Directly Into Inner Pot, Do I Add Fertilizer To Water In Reservoir

I just was gifted a beautiful African Violet, complete with a ‘water pot’….I don’t know weather to repot it to inner pot or just set it in and do I add fertilizer into the reservoir to soak through? Thank you

I would repot it into the inner pot, since it is designed to absorb the water, slowly, from the outer pot. Also, yes, your fertilizer will, likely, be designed to add to the water for absorption. This article will help:
