Q.Accidentally used table salt in my garden

Zone akron ohio | karenjoe1967 added on June 13, 2015 | Answered

In an effort to kill slugs, I sprinkled my flower garden liberally with salt. Now I read that was not a good thing, as it kills everything for years! Is there anything I can do to help this situation? I am so very upset. Thank you.

You can try rinsing away the salt or if you can see the salt try scooping it up.
It can be hard to reverse the damage of salt.
You will need to wait and watch.
Here are a few links for you including how to better rid your garden of slugs.
Try not to stress and sometimes you have to remind yourself that loss makes opportunities.
