Q.AC Vinegar to root plants

Zone 71291 | Anonymous added on May 22, 2018 | Answered

Every article that I read to do with using Cider Vinegar as rooting hormone has directions for rooting in soil. But what if I am rooting in water? Can I leave cuttings in ac vinegar? Or only dip it to put in soil?

They never say a word about rooting in water or if vinegar will damage cuttings if you leave it in there for a week or 6.

Do not use the vinegar rooting hormone to root in water.
