Q.About my Calamondin plant

Zone 78620 | DebbieLWilson added on January 10, 2018 | Answered

I got this Calamondin plant from my step daughter for Christmas . We live in Austin Texas where we usually have a moderate temperature. Unfortunately, we had a freeze a week ago and my beautiful plant froze. Have I killed it? Is there anything I can do to save it? The leaves have dried up and are falling off. I feel just as sick!7

If it was a baby-sized plant, it may be a goner. A bigger plant will probably have enough oomph to send up new shoots. Fertilize gently and give it time to recover from the cold shock.
