My plant leaves are turning dark red , what is its cause?

I notice the powdery mildew and red soil. All of the stress from the mildew, and the compact soil looks to have caused a phosphorus deficiency, or a pH issue. It will be best to plant it in a soil amended with some compost or organic materials.
