Here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/eggplant/eggplant-problems-eggplant-pests-and-diseases.htm

Kakawate spray: add 6-8 liters dry volume chopped fresh kakawate leaves to 1 gallon of water. Allow to soak for two days, then filter out leaves. Add one tablespoon of liquid soap to the liquid. Mix and spray for treating aphids, cabbage loopers, and mosquitoes. While it is thought useful in deterring corn borers, I am not sure about other types; however, since it is organic, it never hurts to try.
