Q.A Spreading Disease On My Cucurbits
Please help. I’m afraid I’m about to lose all of my cucumbers and melons. Looks like a disease is effecting and spreading to all my cucurbits. My zucchini looks fine so far. I live in the PNW zone 8b. I lost my first cucumber very early on. I thought it was dampening off, so I put a fan on my veges, sprinkled cinnamon on my starts and even though I lost a few cucumbers, everything else seemed fine. A few days ago 2 of my cucumbers started to wilt. They didn’t appear to be dry, but I watered anyways to see if their leaves would perk up. They quickly died soon after. Then I noticed more and more of my cucumbers stems had what appeared to be some sort of disease. I tried to research what it was on the internet but nothing is matching what it might be. I’m newish to vegetable gardening, learning everything I know from blogs and YouTube. I usually buy vege starts from the store but because of current events, I bought all my seeds online this year. It seems like everything that can go wrong this year in my garden has. I’m super discouraged. I have an ant infestation, flea beetles, peach leaf curl, slugs/snails, a feral cat that keeps popping in my garden, so.many.birds, etc, etc. Oh yeah, and my tried and true blueberry bushes appear to have a disease that’s spreading as well. I try to only use organic/non-toxic things in my garden. I’ve even used homeopathic remedies. Should I toss all my cucurbit loot or can these be saved?

Here are some possibilities, but it could be damping off. Did you buy reputable disease resistant seeds and use fresh potting mix and clean containers?
