Q.Cucumbers

garyhd added on June 9, 2012 | Answered

I have had mixed success with lemon cucumber plants. One the wind snapped off at the ground level; of course, it died. The other is thriving in a 10-inch diameter by 8-inch deep pot. Is this large enough, and if and when it produces, should I havest them smaller due to pot restrictions. I’m in an apartment with a balcony facing to the east and one to the west with south facing windows indoors. Thanks.

You can leave them until they are full grown. Just make sure to keep up on their watering. As long as they are getting enough water and nutrients, they should not have a problem supporting the fruit until full maturity.
