Q.worms in flower bed

roybal added on May 29, 2012 | Answered

I have numerous flowers planted in my flower bed, and yesterday I found these tiny whitish colored worms. I want to get rid of them without killing my flowers. Any suggestions??

It sounds like you have nematodes. There are some nematodes that are not harmful and some that are very harmful. It would be hard to say which you have. I would recommend taking a sample to your local extension service and having them identify exactly which kind you have and what the best method for treating that variety would be.
