Q.1st Year Rhubarb Plant. What Do You Do With The Stems. Leave On The Plant Or Take Off And Discard

Also. Instructions said not to transplant into the ground or bigger pot until between October-March, however plant getting quite large in its current pot. Can you advise

I would only cut them if they are dead or dying. You can keep the flowers cut for the first year, as well.
