I need help! My friend gave me some tomato seedlings. They have grown so big they look like trees! What do I do to make them give fruit? There are only four flowers on the whole thing. We have had a rainy flood filled June. They get plenty of sunlight and I haven't given any nitrogen. Is there a way to salvage? Do I thin them? If so, how do I go about doing that? Thanks!
There are several things that can cause this, with fertilizing issues being fairly common. Sounds like there may be too much nitrogen in the soil (even if you haven't given any) and not enough phosphorus, which plants need for flowering and fruiting. The addition of phosphorus rich fertilizer or bone meal will help with this.

I have 3 Swedish tomato plants and they have wilt but not everyday. They look quite healthy and the wilt seems to be on one but not the same one each day. Should I remove them? They are just beginning to bud and are in a box area. The stalks often look black at the bottom, and they have marigolds and other herbs around them. Thanking you if you can advise.
There are many reasons a tomato plant can wilt. This article will help you pinpoint the cause of your wilting plant: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/wilting-tomato-plants.htm
My tomato plant leaves, for example, are yellowing (originally started at bottom of plant but now are slowly affecting rest of leaves), some with brown "target" spots, some are curling, but mostly all three with the yellowing being most prevalent. How do I keep the plant, since the tomatoes look so healthy, but prevent the disease from reaching or discoloring the rest of the plants? My beans are also turning yellow at the bottom, yet at some of the top leaves, they are browning slightly at veins. One cucumber plant that gets morning sun is a lime green color, yet it is producing nice cucumbers. Not sure what is going on here. Did notice that the base stem where it was planted looks like some insect, maybe a borer? Has had a picnic cutting into it.
This is kind of a difficult question to answer, because your vegetable difficulties are not caused by one problem. In general, the best way to prevent diseases in your garden is with correct cultural practices such as starting with good soil, disease resistant cultivars, good watering, light, and fertilizing, watching for pests while plants are growing, removing and destroying infected leaves both during growing and after when you clean up the garden. My tomato plants look fantastic and are a little over 4 feet tall but down at the base of the plants the leaves are yellow with dark spots. Any idea what is causing this? Is it blight? What can I do? Thank you.

They are pretty plants and have flowers but are nice and green with no tomatoes. I went flower to flower with a q-tip, put the spray on flowers but still nothing. Plants receive 7- 8 hrs. sun with peppers and eggplants in same bed that have done great. Help!

It might just be the variety of tomato, you might want to try a different one next year.
I have a box garden. The leaves on the bottom of all my tomato plants are turning yellow like they are dying. I have small tomatoes set on. None have ripened yet.
