Normally erect cultivars and trailing blackberries are spaced from 2 to 4 feet apart and from 3 to 5 feet apart within a row.
My blackberry plants are planted next to a trellis planted two years ago. I have younger plants coming up in yard about two feet or more about two inches tall. Can I move them to another location so as not to have them growing in grass, as I want to keep all of them.
As long as these sprouts have roots on them, you can dig them up and replant elsewhere.

When should I plant my blackberry bush?
The best time for planting is in the spring once all chance of frost in your area is passed. Make sure to provide plenty of water for the first month or so to help them get established. I have an area where I did plant a blackberry bush (so I am told) but it looks like Lantana with yellow orange flowers. Do blackberry bushes grow flowers first? Then make berries?
While they do bloom prior to producing berries, blackberry plants normally have white flowers, not orange. Perhaps, if you could send a picture, we would be better able to identify the plant you have and provide more help.
