I keep reading they need full sun but my location in WA state is a north facing lawn. Summertimes is no problem. But wintertime, I can only get part sun, mainly afternoon. Will a witch hazel still flower well given other ideal conditions? Thank you!
It may not grow as fast, or flower as much as one in full sun would, but it will do just fine with proper care.

I have one wild hazel tree already (Corylus Avellana), and would like to get another tree in order to pollinate it so that it produces hazelnuts. Thank you.
They are self fertile. Otherwise, two of them will increase the crop.

how do I store it until then, It is small and is balled no growth on it as we speak
Keep it in a cool location and make sure the root ball doesn't dry out.
