I want to plant, tomatoes, green and red peppers in a box garden. This is my first time. I am not sure when to start planting. I live in Hagerstown, MD. Could you tell me the best time to start and any other helpful information?
Wonderful! We are glad to hear that you are trying gardening. We have put together this Beginner's Guide to help new gardeners get started: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/vgen/starting-vegetable-gardens-guide.htm
This should have information on everything you need to get started, but if you have questions on anything, please let us know!
Indeterminate tomatoes cutting back restart with flowering suckers. I live in the Arizona desert where summer temperatures stop the flowering of tomatoes. However, I am growing indeterminate types. I have been snipping off the suckers and am wondering come August is I can cut off the top single stems and use the flowering sucker as regrowth. I am using the Texas type growing style where I wrap strong twine around a single stem and let it climb up to a crossover support clipping off all suckers. Currently certain suckers are flowering. Thank you for your consideration of my question.

Why do tomatoes split before they ripen?
It can be caused by temperature fluctuations and uneven watering.

I have started several tomato plants and they grow very well but they start bending over. They don't stand straight up. Not sure what causes that. Can you give me some advice? Thanks in advance Ray Harney
They are likely needing more sunlight. They may be bending toward the light.
Increase the light if possible and rotate the seedlings every day or couple of days to even out the growth.

What causes leaves to curl or fall off of tomato plants started from seed and about 7 weeks old?
This could be watering issues; too much or too little.
Lighting issues or even a fungus called dampening off.

My plant was bought already planted. It is growing tall and green but it's got yellow spots on the leaves and no tomato blooms have opened up. What's wrong and what do I do?
If the yellowing is on the bottom leaves only, then there's no need to worry, that's pretty normal, and depending on what zone you're in, it may still be too early for the blooms to open. Usually "no blooms at all" is a bigger concern. Give them a little more time -- with enough sunlight and proper watering, they'll open up eventually.
