l have grown some tomato plants from seed, and have noticed that the leaves on some of the plants have brown spots and patches on them. The varieties affected are moneymaker and an organic variety called tomosa. Can you please advise me what this is, and whether I can continue to grow the plants or destroy them. I have enclosed two photos of the problem plants. Thank you.

There can be many reasons for spots or brown leaves on tomato plants. Some more serious then others.
Make sure you are watering at the base of your plants and avoid overwatering and splashing unto the plant leaves.
Here is a link that may help you pinpoint the cause.

How and with which fungicides can Tomatoes be treated in frequently raining country like Cameroon
Neem Oil is a good choice to use on tomatoes and vegetable plants. It is organic and safe for people, pets and bees.
Neem Oil works as both a pesticide and fungicide.

The upper leaves of a fast growing tomato plant has white spots in the top and underside of the leaf. I'm worried that it will spread. The tomato is potted and on a sunny south facing balcony. Is there something I can do to correct this? Pic attached.
This is the common first signs of Septoria leaf spot.
The leaf spots of septoria begin as small yellow specks, which later enlarge, becoming brown with a yellow border. They can be either circular or irregular in shape, and often have a black dot in the center. You will see them scattered all over the older leaves of infected tomato plants. If you feel this is the problem, apply copper dust or a liquid copper spray fungicide every 7 to 10 days after discovering the disease until 3 to 4 weeks before harvesting.

In my raised garden, 4 ftx8 ft. 18" high I planted my tomatoes. This year after adding compost manure(4 bags) and more dirt, my plants are growing like weeds. I love it prox 3-4 ft tall, rich green, healthy, But they are growing together. Can I prune some stems so I can see separation and allow better penetration of light for the blooms?
I had an actual tomato plant hedge one year!
The answer is yes, you can, but you can also leave the plants.
