Nacogdoches TX zone 8aQ.When And How
I have a Swamp Lilly (White Spider Lilly ) in a pot. It has been in pot for 3 yes. The two huge bulbs were almost palm size when put in the pot.I have heard that they don't to be moved. Can I just cut the pot and set the complete root ball in the ground without to much disturbing it to much. Or the it all apart and just plant the bulbs which has baby's coming off one bulb. Thanks zone 8A

Certified ExpertA.There is mixed information on whether they survive outdoors in zone 8 but it does seem to happen! If this plant is accustomed to being outdoors in the winter, then it will likely do fine in ground.
The best course of action will be to carefully remove the container (cutting can be OK) and carefully place in ground, without disturbing the roots.
