the morning sun is coming up through the trees, there is much less light and gradually my plants start losing most of their leaves. I am not fertilizing and watering much less. what would you suggest? I have tried plant lights but to no avail. So I don't know if I got the wrong type lights or what. I have a spider plant, pothos, philodendron, ivy and dracaena. Lately my African violets are the only ones that do okay.
Since you live in Michigan, I'm guessing you bring those plants in for the winter. When fall approaches, why not go ahead and bring them inside. They should be brought in when temperatures hover around 50 degrees F (10 C). Be sure to hose them off for critters before bringing them inside.

I just brought in a splendid "spider" plant which quickly had leaves yellow & died. I looked closely and saw aphids (I think). What is the best product to eliminate aphids, please? Thank you.
Neem oil is helpful when dealing with aphids. Here's an article with tips: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/indoor-aphid-control.htm
what does it mean if my spider plant leaves are bending? Also, do I need to transplant it to a larger pot? I've had this plant for over 2 years and no spiderettes.
It may be a water deficiency that is causing some wilting.
The pot appears small for the size of the plant, therefore the soil volume may not be enough to hold moisture for an extended period of time.
Yes, repotting is a good idea. You can separate those other plants as well.
Indoor spider plant leaves got something stuck on it.. its all leaves. I tried to remove that .. it's just like dead lice.

I have a mature spider plant that I would like to plant in a Coco basket. Will it grow well?
Yes. This is the best way to grow spider plants since they like to remain dry. They tend to take off in coco baskets since they soil dries out very fast from watering. They do not like moist soil for too long.

Is about 10 years old.

I have red blossoms on my spider plant. They look kind of like a mini rosebud. I have been searching online but have not found anything anywhere about spider plants having red flowers.
Spider plants do flower, but they are usually white. I didn't find any sources that said spider plants occasionally produce red flowers. The flower normally appears before the spiderettes.
