My plants are now in pots; I would like to plant them in the ground. I live in the northwest.
I would wait till you are past the last frost date for your area, which can be found online.

Mr. Goodbar Sedum did great and bloomed all summer - this year there are buds but no flowers and it's getting watered daily. Thank you.
Mr. Goodbud sedum typically produces buds in summer then blooms in late summer or early fall. It's a succulent so I would cut back on the water.
It may have bloomed early last year if you bought it then from a nursery.

Have a plant I’m trying to identify if anyone can help
It is a type of Sedum. There are many Species within the Genus, so finding the exact cultivar will prove difficult.
Here is an article that will help you with their care:

It is a Sedum. It is, possibly, the Autumn Joy variety or similar, and it requires full sun. Here is an article that will help:

They are various rock garden succulent perennials. Thus, off the ground. Thx in advance
Normally sedum plants are hardy and will be fine in any well-draining soil. However, you did have an "etc." and I'm not sure what else you may be growing there. The boxes need to have enough soil depth to protect the roots from freezing. Here's an article: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/garden-how-to/gardening-by-zone/zone-3/succulent-plants-zone-3.htm
My husband has decided to redo our front porch and he needs me to remove the sedum. I’ve always heard they should be transplanted in the spring! It’s a really nice plant & I don’t want to lose it.
They may take if you plant them now, but their best results will be obtained in Spring. A Spring planting is highly recommended.
