Oxford, UKQ.Is The Fruit Edible?
Dear Gardening Experts, Could you please tell me what the tree (see attached picture) is and its fruits are edible or not. thanks. Li

September 18, 2023A.This is a quince, they need to be cooked to be palatable. See the fuzz on them, they are high in pectin. You can mix with apples or make quince sauce much like apple sauce. They have a floral fruity flavor and turn red orange. Look up quince jelly.
