I planted my peanuts outside and they have been doing well but now we are having a lot of rain. Will that kill my peanut plants?
As long as there is sufficient drainage to the area, they should be okay. Once the rain subsides, allow the plants to dry out some before watering again.

I have seen different ways to determine when to harvest the plant, time, color of leaves, color of the pods, and how much the peanut fills the pod. Which of these is The best way to choose when to harvest them. The type I have are spanish peanuts, I dug up one of the pods and it is still a very light brown color but it had a thin shell with the peanut comepletly filling it. The leaves are slightly less green than they have been with one or 2 yellow ones, and I haven't seen any new growth. Do you recommend that I harvest now?
