April 13, 2012Q.peach tree problems
Young peaches are falling off and the ones left on the tree have clear sap drops coming out of them. I can see where something has eaten some of the leaves on one limbs. I have sprayed with a fruit spray fungicide and also Sevin. What could be the problem and what else could I spray?

April 14, 2012A.doesn't sound like fungus, and in my experience, sevin won't have an effect on any insects eating your peaches or the leaves. have you tried an insecticide, or soapy water maybe? I have used ferti-lome worm treatment on my fruit trees (altho I don't like to use chemicals) but it did work.

April 15, 2012Q.Peach Tree Has Many, Many Holes
We discovered lots of holes in some branches of our peach tree. I have never seen these types of holes before in any tree. The hole narrows down like a sharpened pencil tip or ice-cream cone. Our peach tree is dead on one side. The other side is green and has nice leaves and some flowers just starting to come out. What is this? I want to take care of this right away but don't know where to start. I really love this tree. It gives nice peaches.

My recent question was answered with peach borers; it is not the tree that is oozing it is my newly growing peaches that are oozing a clear liquid. It seems there is a small hole in the peach that is leaking and it is every one of the new peaches.
