Is July too late to sow peas?
Since these are cool weather crops, I would actually wait until about mid-August to plant them. That way most of the hottest weather will have eased off by then. If it's already fairly cool, then you can go ahead and sow them now. Here is more information on growing peas: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/peas/how-grow-peas.htm
I have small black mite looking bugs on my peas. Any thoughts? Peas are 5 weeks old and small black looking mites on leaves and stem. Can be wiped off with hand. Co-op says to use pyrethrin.
Without a photo, it's hard for me to identify the insect, but I am going to assume it's spider mites. Here are some articles that will tell you how to tackle this pest. Pyrethrin is an option, however, and these articles will give you additional options:

Happy gardening!
I have my plants in a container. They are now about 5 ft tall and the bottoms of the plants are starting to turn brown. Why, and can this be fixed? Thanks.
Most of the time, brown leaves at the bottom of any plant simply means that the foliage on the upper part of the plant is blocking out some of the sun, and it's nothing to worry about as long as your plants are in full sun. Sometimes it can be indicative of overwatering, which is something peas are highly susceptible to. It doesn't sound like you have any disease or pest issue, but check this article so that you know what else to look for: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/vgen/brown-leaves-on-vegetables.htm
We're growing peas and there's a white powder like stuff that slowly takes over the plants. New growth will be green then develops white stuff. Leaves and pods will turn yellow. The peas inside often look fine. What is it and what can I do? Thank you.
Your peas are probably being attacked by powdery mildew, a common garden fungus. See these articles:
My daughter got Japanese Peas from her school. Her teachers put 3 seeds in a plastic cup with some Miracle Grow soil. The seeds have already started to grow with two of the sprouts already reaching the top. I am not a gardener by any means and I want to make sure these last and we can eat some. What do I need to do in order to help them grow and do I need to move them into another pot? Thank you!!

Every year my pea plants turn yellow, even though I rotate the plants every year. What can I do to get a productive crop that stays green?
You may want to have a soil test done to determine what may need to be amended.
