Hello Thank you for your blog. I am a subscriber and wanted to ask you where I can obtain seeds for weeds like Mullein. Thank you
We don't make vendor recommendations, but I would suggest checking for online native plant or wildlife-friendly nurseries. I would be cautious about individuals selling seeds; we hear about people getting scammed.

The name on the label says verbascum thapsus. Is that the one that gets 10 feet tall? I just can't find alot of info on that. Also the label says biennial. Can you explain please. Thank you
I am pasting a link here for an article from a Wisconsin university extension service that should answer most of your questions. I'm also going to give you links to two other articles. The first one is about growing mullein, the second explains biennial plants. I hope these will be helpful:

Has “fuzzy” leaves. Recent Puc shows it at approx 3 mos old in Zone 3: central Minnesota.
This appears to be a species of Mullein. It does have its uses, but can become invasive under the right circumstances. Here is a collection of articles that will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/mullein
