I can't seem to find any info about dividing mandevilla. It is a beautiful plant and and has done well but I can't manage it in a much larger pot (senior)! What are the chances it will survive if I break the roots apart? Thank you!
Disturbing the roots will, certainly, make it susceptible to diseases. If you decide to undertake this project, it will be very important to try and not break any living roots, at all. Doing so may lead to root rot. They are very susceptible to rotting.
What I would do, beforehand, is take a few cuttings. Once you have extra cuttings rooted, then you can be sure to have a replacement, should the need arise.

I just purchased these at Costco and will be planting outside in pots when weather permits.
That plant is still very young. You will not see all of the shades of the flowers until it is established and produces more blooms.
Proper care will ensure that the flowers remain plentiful, and colorful. This article will help:

They have them in small pots with a little trellis in with them but I want mine to grow up a big trellis. If I get a large pot at the base of the trellis would it be ok in it.
Yes, you could get two or three to fill the larger pot.

Can these be trimmed off. It was overwintered indoors, very small plant not very robust
Without a photo, I suspect it is some type of scale pest. Here is how to get rid of them.

The tips of my Mandeville leaves are turning brown/black and spreading. Also all the new growth and flower buds are withering and dying. There are webs on the plant. I sprayed with Neem oil. Which seemed to work, before the week was up it started attacking the new growth. Should I just continue to treat with Neem oil?
Yes, follow label instructions but it usually takes more than one application. If that doesn't seem to work, try an insecticidal soap.
