Which months do lemon trees have fruit in Europe or N. Africa?
It is really going to depend on the area the trees are growing in. Different climates can speed up or slow down the speed of ripening on citrus trees.
I have just bought a lemon tree in a pot, and the label has a picture of a plate, knife and fork with a line drawn through. Does this mean it is not edible? I would appreciate a speedy reply, as it has 5 large lemons that I would like to use. Thanks for your anticipated help.
This can mean a few things. It can mean that the plant was treated with a non food approved pesticide. They have to put that on there in this case, but the thick rinds of the lemon fruit protect the juice inside and are normally ok. The other possibility is that they coated the fruit with a non food grade wax (to make them prettier for selling the tree). This too will not affect the juice inside. These are warnings that a company has to place on the plant anytime they use something on the plant that is not approved for food.
Have noticed white spots on leaves of lemon tree and some leaves are also curling. Please suggest remedial measures. Thanks.
It sounds like the tree has a fungus. I would treat the plant with a fungicide. I personally like neem oil, as it is safe for consumption and is effective on both pests and fungus.
The tree is in a south window. I have had it for 3 years and it has always thrived. All of a sudden it is dropping leaves. Also, it has never produced fruit, but blooms. Why is that and what can I do to have it produce fruit?

Lemons don't fruit for 5 or 6 years, and the flowers need to be pollinated to make fruit. If you want to try this, you can use a Qtip to make like a bee.
A lot of my baby lemons are turning black, not all of them. Also, should I feed my lemon tree when it's in flower with the baby fruit on it? My tree is about 2 and half feet tall and 12 months old.
It's likely a pollination issue. I recently planted a small lemon tree in a full morning and part afternoon sunny area. Some of the leaves are turning yellow. I water as needed in this hot zone. Am I watering too much?

First, make sure there are no fallen fruit on the ground around the tree.
