September 2, 2013Q.Caring for My Gymnocalcium Mihanovichii (Ruby Ball)
My plant has large extending leaves and many new buds (which are reproductions of the main body). Do I take them off or allow to keep growing? Some are already half the size of the main plant. (ruby ball/moon cactus angry red in color)

September 6, 2013A.I have seen it suggested that buds should be removed, on the other hacd I've seen pics of little cacti with arms and things. Basically, since the plants are so inexpensive, I think its mostly up to you and what you want to try. If something doesn't work right, you can always get another plant and try a different approach.
