I bought tiny gaura plants and want to replant them into larger containers. What soil should I use and can you supply it? Thank you very much, Eda
This plant will want to be planted where it will remain for the duration of its life. Make sure that the container that you pot up to is at least 12 inches tall to accommodate the taproot that it grows.
Just be careful to not overwater since the container may have the tendency to remain wet for longer periods.

In north Atlanta. How much to cut back after the season changes to winter.
You can wait till early spring and cut it back to the ground before new growth starts as with other perennials. Some prefer to cut it back to the ground in fall. Since it is December now, I would wait till spring to cut it back if you haven't already.

Should they be cut back? Keep in shed?
Your area will be zones 8b to 9b. This is within range of hardiness, and at the upper end. This means that care will be minimal. Just clean up any dead or decaying growth.
