Just bought a home with a mature grapefruit tree, super juicy sweet pink grapefruit. Don't know what to do to keep producing the best.
Lucky you! Pick the grapefruits if they are ripe. The longer they stay on the tree, the sweeter they get, but you don't want them overripe and lumpy.

Why do my grapefruit fall off the tree when they're still green?
Some possibilities: moisture problems (too much or too little), nutrient deficiencies (typically potassium), a pest infestation, sudden changes in temperature (when temperatures spike or fall) and a small degree of self thinning can be common in June, etc.
ght be able to propagate ? Over the years whenever I bring the tree in for the winter by Spring it has Apids. I spray with Neem oil & normally by the time I take it outside it’s good & does great outside. Because of the weight I haven’t been able to repot or take outside. It is very woody and I was going to repot in one of those light weight plastic large pots. Anyway it still is so woody snd ugly shaped. Do you think I’d be just propagating it or something ? After 47 years I don’t have the heart to get rid of. Thanks. ..

Tree is about two years old around 3 ft tall and is planted in a 12 inch pot
You can trim off 1 or 2 inches from the top of the tree to stimulate branching. Remember though, you want a tree and not a shrub, so low branches are not desirable.
Here is more on its care:
