Hello I planted these daisies about two weeks ago. I watered them every day and am starting to think it was to much. From another article I read on this website it sounds like to could be crown rot. Does that seem correct and the next closest plant is about 4 ft away, it’s a red bud tree planted at the same time. Will it get affected?
It looks like damage from cool temperatures, but could be the start of root suffocation or rot.
Be sure that you only water when the soil is dry down to 2 or 3 inches. If it is still moist at all down to that depth, watering should be avoided. This will keep a plant healthier then watering on schedule, as some days the roots can dry faster or slower than others.
Other than that, the damage doesn't look too bad.
As long as you provide the correct amount of sun, and the correct amount of water, the plant will last until cold weather sets back in.
I have had gerberas over winter in the house for years, not 2 or 3.
They will be perennials indoors. This will prevent them from seeing the cold temperatures that can kill them off.
Last year I planted several daisies and they flourished with healthy bright green leaves and bloomed all year long through the spring, summer, fall, and winter. (Subtropical climate). In March of this year they stopped blooming even though I regularly deadhead and have fertilized. The greenery looks very healthy, but no flowers. What can I do?
If they receive too much nitrogen, it can cause nice leafy plants but inhibit flowers.
Without a soil test it can be a guess; you can give them a boost of phosphorous in the form of bone meal to help promote flowering.

If the problem persists have your County Extension Office help with a soil test.

I have Gerber Daises in a pot and all the plant is doing is making leaves, no flowers except the ones that came with it.
That is a common problem with Gerber daisies. They need sun, but don't like it too hot, and they need moist, but not wet, soil. Try fertilizing with a slow release fertilizer. It will supply nutrients every time you water. That started mine blooming.

In zone 7. Planted outside for numerous years.
Many times, bud blast can be brought about by environmental conditions. My opinion on this one, given the age of the plant, will be Botrytis blight.
