Hello,I don't know the name of the plant in the attached photos, but I would welcome any suggestions that you may have on how I eradicate it from the garden, it spreads relay easy and it's taking over the lawn. Thank you for your consideration Regards Steve
It looks like pennywort. This article should help:

ir roots has proved difficult as they are interspersed among the roots of the desirable plants. Trying to pull out the dollar weed roots has proved difficult as they grow among the desired plants' roots. I have weeded previously and tried to get out the dollar weeds roots but wasn't able to get them all and several weeks later, it was if I hadn't weeded.
Toward the end of this article in the link below it says dollarweed in landscape beds may need chemical control such as glyphosate. You will need to protect your desirable plants with cardboard before spraying. I have seen a spray that comes out like a foam so it is easier to see if it hits the wrong plant and you can rinse it off (or just pull the leaf off). The weeds under your plants may need to be manually removed. Just try not to dig too much. It also says these weeds like water, so reducing the watering may help.
